Please read these terms carefully before using MyPerkify.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyPerkify (myperkify.com), its mobile application, or any related services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

These terms apply to all users including students, merchants, visitors, and any other person who accesses the platform in any way.

MyPerkify reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. Major changes will be communicated via email.

2. Eligibility

MyPerkify is exclusively for students. To register you must:

  • Be currently enrolled at a recognized educational institution
  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
  • Have a valid student ID card from your institution
  • Maintain only one account per person

Accounts found to have false eligibility information will be permanently banned without refund.

3. Account Registration & Security

3.1 Your Responsibilities

When you create an account on MyPerkify, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and current information at all times
  • Keeping your password secure and confidential
  • Not sharing your account with anyone
  • Notifying us immediately at security@myperkify.com if you suspect unauthorized access
  • All activities that occur under your account — whether by you or someone else

3.2 Account Termination by User

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon deletion all your personal data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Points and membership benefits are forfeited upon deletion.

4. Student Verification

4.1 Verification Process

All students must complete verification to access deals:

  • Upload a clear photo of your valid student ID card
  • Enter your student ID expiry date
  • Verify your email address via the activation link

Verification is reviewed manually by our team within 2-3 business days. Until verified, you can browse but cannot access deals.

4.2 Re-verification

MyPerkify may request re-verification at any time, including when your student ID expires. You will receive an email notification 30 days before your ID expiry date asking you to upload a new ID.

4.3 Fraud & False Documents

Submitting fake, altered, or expired student ID documents is strictly prohibited. This constitutes fraud and will result in: immediate permanent account ban, forfeiture of all membership fees paid, potential reporting to your educational institution, and possible legal action under applicable laws.

5. Data Usage & Privacy

5.1 What Data We Collect

When you use MyPerkify, we collect the following information:

  • Personal information: name, email address, date of birth
  • Student information: institute name, student ID, department, program
  • Location data: city and country
  • Usage data: deals viewed, deals used, login times, device information
  • Payment information: processed securely through third-party payment gateways
  • Student ID card image: stored securely for verification purposes only

5.2 How We Use Your Data

Your data is used for the following purposes:

  • Verifying your student status
  • Providing personalized deal recommendations
  • Processing membership payments
  • Sending important platform notifications and alerts
  • Improving platform features and user experience
  • Detecting and preventing fraud
  • Complying with legal obligations

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We do NOT share your data with merchants without your consent.

5.3 Data Sharing

Your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

  • With payment processors to complete transactions
  • With email service providers to send you notifications
  • With law enforcement if required by law
  • In aggregate anonymous form for platform analytics

5.4 Data Retention

We retain your data for the following periods:

  • Active account data: as long as your account exists
  • Student ID card images: deleted within 7 days of verification approval or rejection
  • Payment records: 7 years as required by financial regulations
  • Deleted account data: removed within 30 days of account deletion

5.5 Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: request a copy of all data we hold about you
  • Right to Correction: update incorrect or incomplete information
  • Right to Deletion: request deletion of your account and data
  • Right to Object: opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • GDPR Rights: European users have additional rights under GDPR

6. Deals & Discounts Policy

6.1 How Deals Work

MyPerkify is a directory and discovery platform. We connect verified students with merchant discounts. The student visits the merchant directly — online or instore — and presents proof of MyPerkify membership.

6.2 Minimum Discount Floor Guarantee

Every deal on MyPerkify is guaranteed to be better than the merchant’s publicly available price. Our category minimums are:

  • Food & Cafes: minimum 15% discount
  • Fashion: minimum 20% discount
  • Tech & Software: minimum 30% discount
  • Travel & Transport: minimum 10% discount
  • Gym & Health: minimum 25% discount
  • Books & Stationery: minimum 15% discount
  • Services: minimum 20% discount

6.3 Deal Misuse

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination: sharing deals or membership access with non-members, using deals after your student status has expired, creating fake accounts to access additional deals, and attempting to use deals from a different city or region than your registered location.

6.4 Merchant Disputes

If a merchant refuses to honor a deal listed on MyPerkify, please report it immediately at support@myperkify.com with your receipt or screenshot. We will investigate within 48 hours. MyPerkify is not liable for merchant service quality or product issues.

7. Membership & Payments

7.1 Plans & Pricing

  • Basic Plan: available at myperkify.com/pricing
  • Pro Plan: available at myperkify.com/pricing
  • Pricing varies by country and is displayed in your local currency

7.2 Billing

  • Payments are charged monthly on your subscription date
  • Pakistan: JazzCash and EasyPaisa
  • Global: Stripe and PayPal
  • If prices increase, registered members will be notified 30 days in advance via email before the new price takes effect
  • Price reductions or promotional offers take effect immediately without prior notice

7.3 Refund Policy

All membership fees are non-refundable except in the following cases:

  • You were charged incorrectly due to a technical error
  • Your account was terminated by MyPerkify without valid reason
  • Required by applicable consumer protection laws in your country

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge to support@myperkify.com.

7.4 Cancellation

Cancel anytime from account settings. Access continues until end of billing cycle. No partial refunds for unused days.

8. Points & Referral Program

8.1 Earning Points

Points are earned through the following activities:

  • Referring a friend who registers: 200 points
  • Using a deal: 50 points
  • Writing a verified review: 30 points
  • Completing your profile: 100 points
  • Maintaining a 7-day usage streak: 150 points

8.2 Redeeming Points

  • 500 points: Unlock a Premium Perk
  • 1,000 points: Top Saver badge on profile
  • 2,000 points: Merchant-sponsored reward
  • 5,000 points: 1 month free membership upgrade

8.3 Points Rules

  • Points have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn as money
  • Points expire after 12 months of account inactivity
  • Points earned through fraudulent referrals will be reversed
  • MyPerkify may modify the points program at any time
  • Points are forfeited upon account deletion or termination

9. Consequences of Violations

9.1 Minor Violations

First-time or minor violations may result in:

  • A warning notification via email
  • Temporary suspension of deal access (1-7 days)
  • Points deduction

9.2 Serious Violations

Serious violations will result in immediate action:

  • Permanent account ban without refund
  • Forfeiture of all accumulated points
  • Blacklisting from future MyPerkify registrations
  • Reporting to your educational institution
  • Legal action if fraud is involved

9.3 What Counts as Serious Violations

The following are serious violations: submitting fake student ID documents, creating multiple accounts, selling or sharing membership access, using automated bots or scrapers, attempting to hack or disrupt the platform, and any fraudulent payment activity.

9.4 Appeals

If you believe your account was wrongly suspended or terminated, you may appeal within 14 days by emailing appeals@myperkify.com with your account details and reason for appeal. We will respond within 5 business days.

10. Reviews & User Content

Students may leave reviews on deals and merchants subject to the following rules:

  • Only verified users who have actually used the deal may leave a review
  • Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on personal experience
  • Reviews must not contain hate speech, profanity, or personal attacks
  • One review per deal per visit
  • MyPerkify may remove reviews that violate these guidelines

By submitting a review, you grant MyPerkify a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your review on the platform.

11. Cookie Policy

MyPerkify uses cookies to improve your experience. Cookies we use include:

  • Essential cookies: required for the platform to function — cannot be disabled
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how users use the platform
  • Preference cookies: remember your settings and preferences
  • Marketing cookies: used to show relevant content (optional)

You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

12. Third Party Links

MyPerkify contains links to merchant websites and third-party services. We are not responsible for:

  • The content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites
  • Any damages arising from your use of third-party websites
  • The accuracy of information on merchant websites

Always review the terms and privacy policy of any third-party website before providing personal information.

13. Content Policy

The following content is strictly prohibited on MyPerkify:

  • Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting any group
  • Sexually explicit or inappropriate content
  • False or misleading information
  • Spam or promotional content without authorization
  • Content that violates any applicable law
  • Personal information of other users shared without consent

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal complaint, please contact our support team at support@myperkify.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 10 business days.

14.2 Formal Disputes

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through:

  • Mediation: both parties agree to attempt mediation before litigation
  • Arbitration: binding arbitration under Pakistani law for Pakistani users
  • Court: disputes may be brought in the courts of Pakistan as a last resort

14.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes with MyPerkify on an individual basis and not as part of any class action or representative proceeding.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyPerkify is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Issues with merchant products or services
  • Platform downtime or technical issues
  • Unauthorized account access due to your security failure
  • Changes to deal availability or pricing by merchants

MyPerkify’s maximum liability for any claim is limited to the total membership fees you paid in the 3 months prior to the claim.

16. Force Majeure

MyPerkify shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, or other natural events
  • Government actions, laws, or regulations
  • Internet or telecommunications failures
  • Cyberattacks or security breaches despite reasonable precautions
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies

In such events, MyPerkify will make reasonable efforts to restore service as quickly as possible and will notify affected users via email.

17. Intellectual Property

  • All MyPerkify branding, logos, design, and content are our exclusive property
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any platform content without written permission
  • Merchant logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners
  • User-submitted content grants MyPerkify a license to display it on the platform

18. Global Users & Governing Law

MyPerkify operates primarily in Pakistan with global expansion underway.

  • Pakistani users: governed by the laws of Pakistan
  • European users: GDPR rights fully apply
  • All international users: must comply with their local laws in addition to these terms
  • Currency and pricing varies by registered country
  • MyPerkify does not knowingly collect data from users under 13

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do:

  • We will update the Effective Date at the top of this document
  • We will send an email notification to all registered users
  • We will display a notice on the platform for 30 days
  • Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes
